MEDIA RELEASE – MUNICIPAL OFFICE REOPENING IN TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH
TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH – The Township of Chatsworth has implemented proactive measures to limit the transmission of the COVID-19 VIRUS. The Township’s Emergency Control Group continues to monitor the situation both locally and provincially to ensure that our residents remain safe.
Starting on Tuesday, August 4, residents will be able to attend at the municipal office on a limited basis between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.. Please note that all services including licensing, planning, building and payments of all accounts are by appointment only. To Book an appointment please call the Township Office at 519-794-3232.
We remind the public that masks are mandatory and ask that you stay home and isolate if you feel unwell.
The Township has put various safety measures in place, including a controlled entrance.
“On behalf of Council, we thank our residents for their responsible response in ensuring that our community remains safe. Please continue to practice physical distancing, wash your hands often and pursuant to the class order from our medical officer of health, wear a mask in indoor spaces”, said Mayor Scott Mackey.
