Changes to Issuance of Tenders and RFPs

Effective October 5, 2020, the Township is using Biddingo for issuing Tenders and Requests for Proposals. Biddingo is an online portal that connects suppliers providing various goods and services to buyers from the Provincial, Municipal, Education, Crown Corporation, Housing, Construction, Healthcare, and Private sectors from across Canada. This method is aimed at streamlining the administration of procurement, as Biddingo is an industry standard and familiar to most suppliers.

Procurement opportunities including Tenders, Requests for Proposal, Requests for Information and other related bid information are no longer posted directly on the Township website. For current procurement opportunities visit: www.biddingo.com/chatsworth

The Township will also take advantage of Association and Co-operative Procurements where it is deemed beneficial.

The Township has participated in procurements undertaken by:

  • The Ontario Government Vendor of Record Program. Through this program, the Ontario Government has contracted with vendors to supply a variety of goods and services which are accessible to public sector buyers.  For further information visit Ministry of Government and Consumer Services  doingbusiness.mgs.gov.on.ca; and
