The 32nd Annual Firefighters Garage Sale will take place on Saturday April 29th at the Desboro Arena (136205 Grey Road 40). The event will take place from 8:00 am to 12:30pm.

Donation drop-off & pick-up days at the Desboro Arena are Saturday April 22nd, 9am – 2pm & April 24th, 25th, 26th & 27th from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Call 519-794-3188 or e-mail firedept@chatsworth.ca before April 21st and leave a message for pick-ups.

Firefighters will also be collecting non-perishable food items to help support the Township of Chatsworth Community Outreach Food Bank. Sale proceeds will go towards the purchase of Firefighting equipment and to support local charity projects.

Please note that Public Skating at the Keady Arena has been cancelled for the following dates:

Drop in Public Skating – program is leisurely skate for all ages. This is a great way to spend time with family and friends.

Drop-in Shinny hockey is a great way to play a game of pick-up hockey with friends and family. You are required to wear full equipment as per the hockey association requirements.

Stick & Puck is a great way for children to practice their stick handling and shooting skills. You are required to wear your full equipment as per the hockey association requirements.

Parent & Tots/Senior Skate offers a slower pace leisurely skate. It’s a great way to introduce your child to skating.

Drop-in Broomball is a great way to play a game of pick-up broomball with friends and family. You are required to wear your full equipment.

Township of Chatsworth Operations Department is giving notice to the
public that the reduced load limit on all highways under the jurisdiction of the
Township of Chatsworth will be effective beginning Wednesday February 15,
2023.

Township ofChatsworth By-law 2019-22 titled “Designate Reduced Load
Period and Highways” states in section 2.2 “That the reduced load period may
be altered if the Operations Manager determines that the condition of the
highway is such that there is risk of damage to the highway if the reduced load
is not imposed.”

The reduced load period normally occurs from March 1st to April 30th in any
given year. However, due to the unseasonal weather conditions in the area, the
Township of Chatsworth will be enacting the reduced load limit starting
Wednesday February 15, 2023.
