Cancellation of Council and Public Meetings

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
As COVID-19 continues to evolve, the Township of Chatsworth has cancelled all council
and committee meetings until further notice. This includes the Council meeting
scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th and the Budget Open House scheduled for the
same date.
Council is taking every precaution to slow the infection of the pandemic, and to ensure
the health and safety of our staff and our community, said Township of Chatsworth
Mayor Scott Mackey.
We will continue to operate critical services and reassess the situation over the coming
days and weeks. Updates will be provided as needed through traditional and social
media outlets including our website at www.chatsworth.ca.
