The Township continues to follow the lead of the Province of Ontario and Grey Bruce Medical Officer of Health in its decisions regarding public safety during this time. Effective immediately, all Township-owned parks, greenspaces and sports fields are now open with the following restrictions in place:
- Continued practice of physical distancing
- Groups are limited to no more than 5 people
- No organized sports teams
- No restroom facilities will be available
- Sports fields – daytime use only
Beaches and Playgrounds will remain closed at this time. “On behalf of Council, I would like to thank the residents of the Township of Chatsworth for their cooperation and patience during this COVID-19 pandemic” said Mayor Scott Mackey.
